Last night was a ton of fun playing with Bo & the Locomotive and Pretty Little Empire at the Vollrath Tavern in Indy. They are touring our fair United States and travelling the east coast. This stop marked the first great night of their tour, and we wish them many more along the way! Pretty Little Empire’s vocal harmonies blended well with their stomp-along song structures. Bo & The Locomotive’s honest lyrics and rollicking stage presence made two ladies get up on the speakers and dance for them. We closed out the night, and invited these St. Louis kids to our house to sleep somewhere other than a van. 

Those folks were really nice and  have definitely reaffirmed my beliefs in Midwest hospitality. I introduced them to Peppy’s Grill last night and gave them our ample floors to sleep on. They were fantastic guests and we can’t wait to play with them again.
