Last December Dan was sick and Drew was gone and this french videographer was coming to take a video of the band but their dog escaped and then and then and then….. we recorded this lovely video! Gael and Aretha were really great to work with and this series is a serious thing to follow. Few road trips are episodic in nature, but this one’s the tops!

Buckeye Love Tour Update #2

Update #2: Columbus was rad! Thanks to Kobo Live for having us and to Cliffs, Comrade Question, and Pravada for an excellent night of music! Today we hit the high roads to Cleveland, Ohio to play Brite Winter! Bells and whistles and pop tarts galore!

Buckeye Love Tour, Day 1!

Hey guys,

Quick update from Cincinnati! Last night was a blast at MOTR pub we played close to an hour set. Unfortunately, didn’t get to share the stage with Country Mice because they had car issues (best wishes, guys). We stayed the night at a friend-of-a-friends house/abandoned church. Practicing here in the sanctuary today, then heading to Columbus, Ohio to play at Kobo Live and meet up with Indianapolis pals Pravada (as well as stellar locals Cliffs and Comrade Question) tonight! Breaking legs all over Ohio.

Love,
Bonesetters

Thanks to Blurt Magazine for including us in their long running article “Best Kept Secret!” Here are some kind words they had to share:

“Yes, if that sounds like a mashup of roots-rockin’ Americana and shoegaze-tinged dreampop, run with it. Pardon the unsolicited hype, but what the hell: the more we listen to these guys, the more smitten we become.”

We like them as well! Doing an interview soon, stay tuned!

Love,
Bonesetters

When this list of Woody Guthrie’s “New Year’s Rulin’s” popped up on the internet a year ago, it became an instant classic of the season. Which means that the time  has rolled around to remember it, reread it and take it again to heart. There’s a rulin’ on it to suit just about anybody because it never hurts to be reminded “Don’t get lonesome,” “Stay glad,” “Dream good” and “Love everybody.” Also, “Wash teeth if any.”
Happy New Year everybody!
